I don't keep up well with this stuff but been noticing VRAM of late, is it new?

Its Video RAM. So it is the RAM on your graphics card that the system uses to push graphics. Don't think its anything new.

This card looks good for someone who want a more affordable card, and can deal with the slightly lower framerates.
