Other Activision Now Owns Major League Gaming

Good news, or maybe bad news or perhaps worse news. Over the weekend, Activision bought Major League Gaming (MLG) and their first goal is to get MLG on tv air stations.

“I have a simple vision for this,” Activision boss Bobby Kotick told the paper. “I want to build the ESPN of video games.”

Could help bring eSports into a mass market, but could also cause it to fail. Honestly could go either way right now. I'll be keeping up to date on this.

Well it got a lot of negative reaction when esports was displayed on ESPN, granted that was a black sheep thrown into a bunch of white sheep in a figure of saying.

Yeah it just didnt fit there audience really. Hopefully something built up for gamers would work.
