You know, sometimes I find it hard to review something.

After The Hunt is a messy film about a subject matter that's rife with drama and controversy. The premise is about Julia Roberts (I couldn't really tell you their characters name and I'm too lazy to look it up) dealing with the aftermath of a sexual harassment allegation against a friend of hers played by Andrew Garfield (whose name I also forgot). The film is very good at making you uncomfortable, and you leave the film with far more questions than answers in your head.

I'm very conflicted about this film. This does kind of work. The performances do have some spice to them and the story can get interesting at times. But there's also this dullness about this film that's hard to describe.

The soundtrack is very strange at points, some lines of dialogue are very strange for a drama film, and the story doesn't fully explore any theme it brings up.

It says a single line about a political topic and then turns to something else. It's basically a very noncommittal film, which might be the point, but it's just not very interesting.

I guess, the best to put this, is that this was an interesting film that doesn't really leave me with much to really clamor about.
