I thought this was interesting.

Imagine AI was put into the Sims games?

Would you want to see something like this or no? Why or why not?

I'm pretty sure at this point, an AI SIMs game is the ultimate goal, that and GTA.

I think this video blurred the line between today’s machine learning systems and the idea of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Current AI is powerful at narrow, specialized tasks, but it doesn’t “think” or learn in the human sense. AGI, the kind of system that could reason and adapt across domains, is still hypothetical. Most expert estimates place its arrival somewhere in the next few decades, though the timeline is highly uncertain. Saying it’s an impossible theory is also still on the table. So, I really do not like how he grabbed today's basic machine learning and pushed it to "they will create their own programs and universes in the game," as they cannot do this, nor can they understand anything.

On the multiverse theory point, I agree it’s a well-established philosophical hypothesis. But describing multiverses as “testing grounds” oversimplifies the theory, which is well established in Simulation Theory. The core argument is about probability and computational capacity, not necessarily multiverse mechanics. It’s important to acknowledge that he described parts of a well-established theory and then failed to mention that theory and took parts of that idea as his own argument.

I feel AI built-into a game won't convince me to play a game or not play it. I mostly play game because I like the offline storyline, high quality graphics, artwork, music, and enjoyable gameplay.
