Avid Nintendo fan and Reddit User Gumball1989 shared that they had painstakingly downloaded all 285 issues of Nintendo Power and re-uploaded them to Archive.org as a complete collection. According to the resourceful gamer, they needed help from others to source the final two issues missing from the overall Nintendo Power collection.
 
At least this makes my collection worth more then. That old copy with Kid Icarus Of Myths and Monsters was a good buy I do say.
 
What about all the people that use to pay for the subscription back in the day? They had to pay to read those if you wanted them. I figured they might be a little irritated that they spend that money and now you can read them for free.

I'll be honest I missed out on a lot of Gamecube and GBA issues prior. I feel like I did want to read those of the nostalgia for other games I own. At the end of the day, it's still a piece of paper that should stay in a library. But handing out the property of everything Nintendo related for free is definitely a copyright strike for those who didn't pay at the time or secondhand. And I take it they are collectible in a retro market.

No point to your comment? I mean they are out of print and apart of collections, no one can read them and this upload was long past anyone who would have waited lol.

I think Nintendo Power ended because of the internet and it's dated enough just playing the game or using the internet is the alternative to reading. They still have Nintendo Power podcasts on the Switch New feed so that might be the reason.

Yeah, gaming news sites and walkthrough sites kind of killed a lot of people’s interest in Nintendo Power. There’s definitely a lot of charm in the magazines.

That along with Gamepro, Game Informer, Playstation had one as well I think.
