Sprites are a major feature of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, acting as collectible companions that grant passive bonuses and unique perks during matches. As you extract and level them, their abilities grow stronger, giving you advantages in combat, looting, and survival.

Below is a full breakdown of every Sprite currently available, sorted first by rarity, then alphabetically by name within each tier.

Rare Sprites

These are the most common Sprites and offer reliable, easy‑to‑use bonuses.

Earth Sprite – Has a chance to grant additional rare items when opening chests.
Fire Sprite – Creates a fiery burst when you deal enough damage to an enemy.
Water Sprite – Replenishes shields for you and nearby squadmates while in water.

Epic Sprites

More specialized abilities that support different playstyles.

Demon Sprite – Restores some health and shields when you eliminate an opponent.
Duck Sprite – Replenishes shields when you emote or use Jam Tracks.
Ghost Sprite – Grants temporary invisibility upon reloading.
King Sprite – Increases your Pickaxe damage.

Legendary Sprites

High‑value Sprites with powerful or unpredictable effects.

Dream Sprite – Grants random items at each level and explodes with Legendary loot at max level.
Punk Sprite – Has unpredictable effects and can grant infinite ammo at max level.

Mythic Sprites

The rarest standard Sprites with strong, unique perks.

Burnt Peanut – Eliminating players gives you a chance to find additional loot, including Mythic items.
Zero Point Sprite – Spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a healing item on yourself.

Sprite Variants

Beyond the standard Sprites, Fortnite includes special variants that offer additional bonuses:
  • Gold Sprites – Grant bonus XP for eliminations.
  • Gummy Sprites – Provide 10% more Sprite Dust when extracted.
  • Galaxy Sprites – Unreleased; expected to increase ammo found by 20%.
The Gummy Zero Point Sprite is currently considered the rarest Sprite in the game, with only one known discovery so far.

Extracting Sprites

You can extract Sprites by:

Extraction Sites – 17 locations across the map; extraction alerts nearby players and must be defended.
Sprite Extractor – Extracts instantly from your inventory without alerting enemies; expensive but safer.

Successful extraction grants Sprite Dust, used to resummon and level up Sprites.

Which Sprite Should You Level First?

According to many players so far, Fire Sprite is the strongest all‑around choice thanks to its accessibility, ease of leveling, and consistent offensive power.
