All the gift cards?

Okay, this is just hilariously stupid:

Apparently, GAME (a major UK video game store chain) has very few gift cards left over for Christmas.

Why? Because ONE store manager bought all of them.

As in, literally every single gift card in stock. So the gift cards meant for every store in the country ended up in the same one shop in the middle of nowhere. :rolleyes:

It's just hilarious how messed up this is, isn't it?

I like to know how someone in shipping didn't catch the issue or raise questions to stop the whole shipment to go to one store.

I saw this the other day, freaking hilarious. I mean, how could the inventory people not be like "That's weird, this guy is ordering 800,000 more gift cards then usual." Seriously, how do you miss something like this? How did they miss that it would require all the stock destined for every store to fill the order, and someone not be like "Maybe we should call them first?". Like, do you even inventory? LOL!
