Am I the only one who doesn't think SwapNote works that well?

Sorry, but what's the point in making you unlock basic options like stationary, sounds, photos or other stuff?

I think Nintendo needs to get the hint that not everything needs to be a GAME. You don't 'unlock' features in Microsoft Office or your computer's operating system or Photoshop or your iphone. I think Nintendo is a bit too obsessed with trying to make every minor feature 'fun' to use rather than particularly 'usable'.

Does anyone agree with my point?

The only other thing I find annoying.... why is it that you can only reply to a message once? Or specifically only one person can have a message in any single 'topic'?

For example, I send you a note saying "I like meatballs".
You say "What about Spaghetti?"

Why can't I just reply back on the same message saying "That's also awesome"? And then YOU can't reply either?
You can only reply on messages once, and you can NOT reply on your own messages? It's literally like...
"I'm playing Mario Kart 7... wanna play?"
"Yeah, what's your FC"
*tries to reply* "SHEEET!"

Yeah,I agree. It didn't really do well, and was really boring.

They had it right with Flipnote.

Yeah, this. It was always annoying whenever that happened.

Oh dear GOD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SKYMIN50? Wait... maybe it's not so bad *sees Yoshian12 about to reply*

OH SHOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! *jumps off a cliff*

I never really expected Nintendo to get it right with these methods of online communication. It's decent overall, but it does get old.

I agree though, Swapnote needs an update. I am sure it will be updated in the future.

WE'RE SAFE,TUK.

IT'S ALRIGHT.

I dunno, maybe Nintendo will just abandon it and jump on something else and milk it more.

I agreement with ya, unlocking functions in an application is pretty frustrating, and we need more reply options.

I dont mind it too much. The only things I'd want is more reply options that doesn't have limitations, different colored inks, and an option to type for those people who suck at writing.

God it's like translating hieroglyphics when my friends write to me sometimes.

Another disadvantage....

*Is in community MK7 race*
*Goes to Home Menu and launches Swapnote*
*Sends message to guy(s) in community*
"So, how about the patch thing that was announced? Anyway, let's get started.... Oh shit... I just remembered, I closed MK7 when launched this game. Y U NO LET ME USE SWAPNOTE WITH GAME SUSPENDED!?"

Or how about instead of all this sending letters crap, we just have an IM service for 3DS? You know? Maybe we can communicate with others better? And have it so you can open it up ingame too. That would be pretty cool.

Also, the "Lady and the Tramp Italian restaurant spaghetti scene" style music is a bit lame, IMO. I usually turn my 3DS down because of it.... I want something more interesting than... what I just called it.
