Any of you guys play Skyrim for ps3?

Never played it on PS3, though I hear it's better on PC.

I've never played it on PS3, I have played it on Xbox 360 allot. And I really want to try it on PC because you can get so many mods and you can use the console to become a various amount of different creatures. I also hear that on PS3 it often crashes the console because of the sheer size of the game. :P

I've lost many hours and friends from Skyrim and rest of The Elder Scrolls series and couldn't be happier. Just don't expect your girlfriend to have the same life-ruining enthusiasm lol.

I admittedly did not finish Skyrim. But a word of advice is to not try and rush through it just because the 120 hour playtime seems daunting. It's cliche to say, but really make an effort to immerse yourself in the game; it's the only way that you will truly get the best experience out of the game.

I agree with the above post. The best way to play any of the games in that series is to save the main quest for last. If you do it that way you'll get months out of the game.

For the PS3 - good graphics, easy controls (controller), and you can talk to your friends.

PC - It depends mainly on your computer, and your own personal preferences.
How old is it? How is your graphics card? ( If you have a newer computer, and it has a newer graphics card, the display will be greater than that of the PS3's.)
Do you like having more choices for buttons? There are a ton of buttons for the PC game version of Skyrim. (I personally play it on the PC..It's great!) Do you like looking around with a mouse, or a control stick? Would you rather use one button to do something (PC), or having to go through menus to find something?(not sure, just a guess, considering a controller only has so many buttons.)

But the main reason I play it on the PC (and many many others), is because of the MODS, they turn it into a new experience. If you're a die hard console fan, then by all means play it on the PS3, God knows its a good enough game on its own.

It's not a mmorpg, its a rpg. There is a lot to see and do in the game. You can do the main quest or wander around. If your a completionist I recommend checking out http://www.ign.com/wikis/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyrim. I will help you find every quest in the game.

Yeah, I was going to say it's not a mmorpg, but I wasn't sure if the OP was talking about the elder scrolls online or not?

I'm waiting till my son is old enough for the age rating as an excuse to get it then. I'm probably more into fallout 3 style worlds, but I'm interested to see how they might have improved after making oblivion.

All of the time. I have a level 150 Nord. He does both melee and magic. I really enjoy the game and there's always volumes of things to do. I'm taking a break from it so I can have the opportunity to explore other games. If I'm not careful Skyrim will keep me on at months at a time. Best game ever in my opinion.
