As if it weren't shocking enough that Apple has an Android app that doesn't try to convince users to switch to iPhones, it has just updated said app with a feature that no iPhone can have. At least technically. Apple Music on Android has been updated with, among other things, support for downloading music to external (micro) SD cards. This, in theory, would allow users to listen to a lot more music offline, more than any iPhone or iPad can handle, at least with current configurations.

I wonder if the saved music from Apple music on a Micro SD cards can be copied to a PC, and played on a music player like Foobar, or Windows Media Player.

This is a nice feature. I'm glad Apple realize that people are not always connected to the internet on their phones, or have very low bandwidth limits before they pay expensive bandwidth overage fees.

I have about 128 GB sd card for my phone that is mostly for my music and its about 30 percent full. I would hate to stream that via internet.
