Are there too many copied games on mobile?

I've noticed a lot on games on mobile are similar, especially in Google Play Store. Do you think too many mobile game developers copy each other?

I think most developers draw inspiration from one another and take ideas from other games to create their own games.

Yes, I think there are a lot of similar mobile games because a lot of game makers may get their game inspirations from older games and movies.

I think for mobile games though, there's a lot of games that are pretty much clones. They're basically skins with different characters.

I think the game app stores may not be as strict at punishing cloned games in the game titles search result ranking and top game charts, so a lot of people make similar games instead of making more unique games which maybe hard to get attention because it is too different from msinstream games.
