I haven't played the first one (want to), I'll definitely pick this one up.
Good move on Nintendo's part for making this exclusive, hopefully it brings a lot more awareness of the Wii U.

Bayonetta was a good game, but could be very tough in spots. Since even on normal the enemies do a ton of damage (so even though Bayonetta's health gauge looks pretty big, it vanishes in only a few hits). Boss fights were especially bad since they often had 2-4 health bars and took a ton of damage.
So you really need to learn to use the Dodge button. (Since dodging at the right time activates Bayonetta's Witch Time so things move slower and she does more damage.)
As for Bayonetta 2, looks good.

I never played the first game, so I'm hoping this is something I can jump into with the 2nd game.

This game looks amazing! I can't wait until it's released to read up the reviews, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is really smooth!
