A New York City GameStop location had a bad weekend: The store was closed for several hours due to a bee infestation, with several GameStop employees trapped inside the locked store.
The trouble started when bees started streaming from inside a nearby building, and gathered outside the game retailer. "There were like a thousand bees in there," a witness reported, "but then they came out and there were more. They were in a pack!"
The employees locked the door to their store and posted a sign reading "Temporarily closed due to bee infestation." Several tense hours passed for the employees, who no doubt played video games to ease their frazzled nerves. Then, New York' City's official bee specialist came by and herded the bees away. Miraculously, no one was stung in the incident.
