What games do you like from other media? So for instance, that are featured as part of a TV show or film's storyline but that don't actually exist in the real world?

I personally like the fictional games in The Simpsons (like that ultra violent fighting game Bart tried to steal from the store) and the weird MMORPG/first person shooter/action adventure hybrid from that Danny Phantom episode i can't remember the name of. Yes the concept was a bit ridiculous, but it looked like something that'd be entertaining to play in real life.

Oh, and the fictional Scooby Doo game from Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase. No, not the licensed tie in, the in universe one. Kind of neat how it had what seemed like twenty open world (think GTA size) missions in it, all with different themes and enemies and stuff. Pity the real game they made based on it was decidedly average...

I'd honestly would like Brain Burst from Accel World if you've ever seen it it's a 1v1 or 2v2 fighting game. And The World from .hack would be a nice mmo to play.

And wow, Scooby Doo cyber chase takes me back, that would be an awesome game to play.

that game in The Simpsons is called Bone Storm and exists as it is a direct parody of Mortal Komba. The episode was made during / because of the contravercy surrounding MK 1's release.

My pick, since you said 'media', is a spoof image from a game itself. When Konami announced they were making a Silent Hill game as a Diablo-style dungeon crawler people began mocking the concept. One person stated "What's next? A mario-kart racer?". The developers as a sarcastic easter egg placed an image of a Silent Hill racing game into the Diablo-style one (Shattered Memories for PS Vita) on a TV in the background of the title screen, which is viewable if you sit and wait for the camera to pan. I'd love to see that made - not only as an "eff you" to the commenter, but also because I feel if they did the macabre theme right it could be like a halloween ride through a haunted wax museum kind of chilling atmosphere - which would be unique as Hell (erm, seriously... no pun meant there >.< ).
