Okay, what the hell is the point now? There's like what, about a week or two until the Wii U comes out? Who the hell still wants to watch Youtube videos on their Wii console?

It's like the so called 'expanded audience' will give much of a toss, they already watch Youtube videos on their computer to begin with. And gamers? Why would they use it? I'm not going to turn on my TV and Wii just to watch some Youtube vids, I'm going to switch on the PC and access it through a freaking web browser like anyone else.

The crowd that use a Wii but don't use Youtube in some form is probably about nil.

But yes, at least we might be able to use the app on the Wii U. It just seems more than a tad late to release a Wii version.

Wait, so since Youtube is on the Wii, is there a chance an app formatted for the 3DS? Also, are the graphics Web Channel Youtube XL or like computer good?

I think the fact that it is coming out for the Wii supports the idea that they are working on a YouTube app for the Wii U. Also, I think it is a good move because most of the people who care about a YouTube app are casual gamers and casual gamers are not the ones who will be getting a Wii U right away. This serves to reassure the millions of Wii owners not getting a Wii U that Nintendo still remembers them, even if no big games are planned for their system.

Why all the hate? You guys are acting like a YouTube app is completely useless, when it's not. The iPod touch has Safari, which can play YouTube videos, as well as a YouTube app. Do you know how many million people prefer the convenience of the YouTube app to viewing the desktop version through Safari?

If you ask me, yes, it is better late than never. Always.
