Right now, when we think of social media we think of guys like Elon on X and the Zuck on Facebook. But before Elon's rise to X power, we had the big 3. Who do you think was the biggest influence on social media?

It's never the app that influences, it's the people who use it. I could be conspiratorial saying any leader listed above. The app's popularity just aged out. None of this seems influential but rather historical. To play favorites, Twitter would be great if it weren't for the people on it now who always think they're right, or just haze you for having an opinion or explaining a fact.

Tom of Myspace is the biggest influence on Social Networks because Myspace used to have a lot of features like forums/groups, a profile music player, customizable profile pages, etc which attracted a lot of users when social networks were not as popular.

Tom Anderson, by far. If he hadn’t launched Myspace, I don’t think Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites would be around today. The success of Myspace influenced the rise of other social media platforms.
