BlackBerry’s Alex Thurber, who joined the company this past April, fired off a tweet recently that said, “In response to some recent press reports, I want to be clear that BlackBerry users have nothing to fear — the keyboard is here to stay…” Good news indeed, assuming you care at all what BlackBerry’s up to these days.

I thought the Crackberry forums were supposed to help keep such rumors contained, but it seems that since Blackberry decided to ditch their own OS in favor of Android, pretty much everyone there lost interest...

I think the Tech News Press started the rumors on ditching the keyboard. There are many Tech News Sites, and Regular News Sites which like to predict the future, and get more page views from starting rumors even if they are not true.
