Got this game for Christmas and must say it's pretty fun running around as kenpachi and destroying people with ease! I just need my game genie to come so I can quickly max out their stats

Yeah, it would take a shit load of time without it. It's a fun game; one of the few repetitive hack and slash I can enjoy.

I imagine a high rank mission would net me a lot of XP but I got too many games to play to level up on the same mission over and over.

Yeah this pretty much a Dynasty Warriors game, but it's not exactly a Dynasty Warriors, it's kind of it's own thing really.

Rent it or borrow it, I'm going to have this game beaten in 4 hours tops. But a good play none the less.

There is more than the piss poor story mode. Missions with every character takes awhile, and getting all the trophies could take up to 200 (50-75 with a Game Genie).

oh my god, I can't imagine what the game makers were thinking putting in such a long grinding process in this game. they should be shot.

took me about 2 hours to max out all my guys, take months to get everyone done.

Depends on how much you play. Like I said, at least 150 hours.
It took me about 155 hours to platinum this game doing it legitimately. I enjoyed most of this game... Though I actually didn't care much for playing as Kenpachi. (For being this really powerful warrior, his moveset was really limited and generic. Plus I found he didn't combo very well at all. )
The other one I didn't like was Kokuto. I found him to be pretty slow and weak and hard to build up combos with.
I ended up having to farm one of the first missions (the one where you have to kill 99 enemies and then Kenpachi) to get a high enough level to do another mission to get to level 175. (Though some characters were easier than others. Starrk was so freaking easy to level up it wasn't funny. Enemies practically threw themselves at his feet. Byakuya was tough getting started since his circle button used so much energy and even his triangle consumed a lot, but once he got up a few levels he got really powerful and things got a lot easier. Hollow Ichigo was hard to get used to at first with his sword throw but once got used to that it was easy to combo with him.)
I'm just glad there were no online trophies too. (I hate online trophies in games. So freaking annoying. Especially if the online becomes a ghost town or the servers shut down.)

I like playing as Kenpachi actually, you just got to know how to use him
But yeah I'll S rank my story missions tomorrow with hard difficultly beaten and that will be it with this game.

I got all missions done but 27, too much a pain to beat all those on the different settings.

For that trophy where you need to have same numbers in final score... I think I got that through luck because I got it when I was playing as Starrk and was just utterly wrecking everything.
Though you can do that easily by going to the first story mission, and getting only 94 soul points and using your ignition attack to finish the final two menos. This should give you a guaranteed score of 222.
