Seems a lot of Borderlands 2 info was dropped today, here what has been announced:

During a panel at PAX East today, Gearbox revealed Krieg, the sixth playable character for Borderlands 2. Krieg is a Psycho and will be available for $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points) in May.

Krieg is based on the Psycho enemies seen in the game and rewards players for high-risk behavior such as running into crowds. His action skill is Blood Axe Rampage, which allows him to regain health while attacking an enemy. His Skill Trees include Bloodlust, Mania and Hellborn.

The Bloodlust tree is about constantly dealing damage, such as increased bonuses for killing enemies with explosions or grenades and an increased chance to find grenade ammo following a kill using that method.

The Mania tree rewards the player for taking damage, such as decreased action skill cooldown while being hurt. Krieg will also be able to receive damage from teammates.

Finally, the Hellborn tree focuses on elemental damage, with one skill offering increased damage while you’re on fire (and a chance of being ignited yourself every time you light up an enemy).

He is not available on season pass. No other info was given.

During a panel at PAX East today, Gearbox revealed that Borderlands 2’s level cap will be raised on April 2nd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC players. The cap will add 11 new levels (bringing the total to 61) and will be free to Season Pass holders (or $4.99 for everyone else).

Along with the level raise, Gearbox will also be adding a new weapon tier: Pearlescent. Pearlescent weapons were previously seen in the original Borderlands and will be the rarest loot in Borderlands 2.

On April 2nd, Gearbox will also offer a new mode called Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Mode as a free update to all players regardless of whether they’ve purchased the level cap raise. The mode will be available to anyone who has beaten True Vault Hunter Mode and reached level 50 and will have enemies scaled to the highest level in your party.

Gearbox emphasized that the level cap upgrade is not the final piece of the Borderlands 2 season pass and that a fourth campaign is still set to arrive before the end of June. More information on the level cap increase will be announced before its release next week.

Just 11? Should be more.

At the end of its PAX East panel today, Gearbox showed off a video hinting at Borderlands 2’s next downloadable content.
In the video, Tiny Tina was joined by original Borderlands Vault Hunters Mordecai, Lillith and Brick playing a game called Bunkers & Badasses, which appears to be the Borderlands universe's version of Dungeons & Dragons. After some instructions from Tina and a few jokes, the video ended without any additional information.

While Gearbox is staying quiet for now, we do know that one more campaign add-on is due in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass before the end of June. During their panel, Gearbox said the next campaign will be the "biggest yet" and is being developed entirely by the internal Gearbox development team.

nice.

Some good news GF gamers.

For a few dollars... that level cap might be worth picking up. Especially since it'd be on Sony's dime for me. (I'll use that 10$ they sent out last month to people to buy this DLC.)

I'd like to see what kind of powerhouse Maya can become with 11 more levels to play with. (I mean I only have her at level 45 or so and she can wreck enemies already.)
