I keep getting recommended stuff about that one Bubsy fan that I take it has issues. Magic Mush covered her as well as some other channels.

Lol right? I still don't get how we got this along with an announcement for a new Bubsy game. I think there's only been one game in the series that got decent scores, all the other games were terrible.

Mostly because Atari has nothing else except for Rollercoaster Tycoon.
Iirc only the first game got decent reviews, and the rest were like “why are you pushing this mascot on us?”. Even the first game had frustrating controls.

8 games total. I wouldn't mind playing the PS1 version again.

I think they did make some tweaks to make the PS1 game a bit more enjoyable. I know the first game on the Genesis was a pain in the butt, they added fall damage to the game so if you fall from a high platform you die instantly...
You must like torturing yourself if you want to play Bubsy 3D again

Sometimes nostalgia is like that.
That game was frustrating to play with how busted it was. It felt like a game in the alpha stages.

I haven't played it but from videos yeah it's not a polished game at all. Still would make for a funny video if you have a Youtube channel, one you can just make fun of the game or attempt to beat it live lol.
