What's a pain it is that it was only October 2005 when they started development for SSBB, "Super Smash Bros Brawl". So it's going to be quite awhile, even if Namco is on their side.. Ugh, I know, right?
I am happy they announced it, but because the announcement was so early, the wait is going to feel so long. Didn't they only start working on this project early this year?
 
TOTALLY GETTING BOTH! I have all of em and smash bros melee was my favourite game as a kid. Luigi was my best, and ironically enough, my brother would always be mario. Either that or young link versus regular. It's one of my favourite nintendo series of all time!! Hw could not get both!
 
Probably the 3DS at first and then the Wii once I've got some more money together! I guess the 3DS has the advantage of being potable, and the other means I can play with mates, as someone said up there! Sometimes I'd rather not know when they propose to bring out a new game, the wait is excruciating! Like the wait to go on holiday. Except multiplied by 50. Just out of curiosity, where does everyone head to when a game first gets released? Do you queue up at your local store? Do you pre-order online and get it delivered? I've always gone here for Cheap Nintendo DS Games, never bothered with anything else!
 
im getting 3ds one all i care is nintendo was smart so 3ds can play with wii u plus i can compare if the wii u makes it harder or easier controlling and ill se that by a i beating a wii u player
 
I only play on portable systems, so I will rent it on the 3DS. I know this is off topic, but I didn't even know this game would be released on the 3DS, anyone have a release date? I had quite fun with the GameCube version back in the day, so playing it on a portable would be really neat.
 
Wii u, if I get one for christs sake! 3ds is great but I think the problem is you can't just sit down and play with your mates, online maybe but that's not as nice as just hanging round with a pizza and a handful of friends fighting with your favourites!
 
I imagine if we have a Wii U by then, we'll get both, but seeing as right now I only have my 3DS... This may be one of those games that gets us to go out and buy a Wii U though!
 
3ds because I've always wanted a portable smash bros. :D plus me and none of my friends have a Wii U all we have are 3ds's xD plus I wanted the 3ds one since I heard about it 2 years ago

You do know that Super Smash Bros Brawl had a DS version, right?
 
The 3DS one because who is going to get a new console just for a new game (like I did for SSBB)? I'm sure it's worth it but as long as Jigglypuff is on SSB4 3DS (and hopefully Olimar) I'll be happy. I don't care if the fighters are less detailed if you get the same amount of fun (online or off like KI:U).
 
I'm getting the 3DS version. I'm just starting to get into SSB, and I have more experience with the 3DS. Besides, I want to see how they can work out a SSB game on a handheld device. They did Paper Mario well, so I wonder if they can do the same with a different genre.
 
3DS version.It has little support and It would be nice to play smash bros on the go.Also,I've played all others.

Playing the 3DS version will get me 1 step closer to playing them all.And I will get the Wii U version maybe a while after it's release,but it's gonna cost more than the 3DS version and I prefer the 3DS version more,so yeah...go 3DS version. ._.

I only have a 3DS XL at the moment, so I'm only planning on getting the 3ds version. The Wii U is getting a price drop on the 20th along with the limited edition Wind Waker bundle, so I might finally get a Wii U. My main concern with the Wii U is that there isn't nearly as many great games for it like there is for the 3DS. I wouldn't buy a Wii U just for this game, but if I had a Wii Ualready, I would defenitely buy both versions,if anything just to try out all the stages. That's still the only difference between 3DS and Wii U version right? The stages. Didn't Nintendo announce that you wouldn't be able to play between the two versions?
 
It's obvious that most people will be buying both versions depending if you're a die hard fan of Nintendo like me. I'll definately be buying both versions but this is the first a Smash Bros. game has come to a handheld.... It's going to be different

Also I hope they do a bundle to buy both versions and maybe a cool preorder gift :)
