Activision revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature omnidirectional movement, a revamped HUD, and the classic prestige system during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct. Developer Treyarch unveiled a slew of new details about the game during the Direct, showcasing details about the game that will both push the franchise forward and return Call of Duty to its roots.

Treyarch is overhauling gameplay, introducing omnidirectional movement to Call of Duty in Black Ops 6. This allows players to run, slide, and dive in any direction. Alongside this comes a setting called intelligent movement, automating movements such as sprinting, mantling, and sliding through crouch-height holes. Also getting a revamp is HUD customization. Some of the HUD options include disabling the HUD entirely, relocating the mini map, centering the HUD elements, and a layout designed for streaming. Treyarch also confirmed that the classic prestige system will return to Black Ops 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has unveiled the Vault Edition which, for $99.99 USD, will guarantee players the most complete in-game content experience. This Black Ops 6 version includes early access to the Open Beta and the Woods Operator Pack. Players will get the Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack, with four skins for Call of Duty Operators, and the Mastercraft Weapon Collection, with skins for five different weapons. The Vault Edition will give players the BlackCell Battle Pass Bundle with 1,100 COD Points and 20 Battle Pass tier skips, as well as a GobbleGum Pack for Zombies, which are consumables that provide different bonuses and effects.

Players who pre-order any Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 edition will get early access to the Open Beta as well as the Woods Operator Pack, which includes skins for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The skins will also be available in Black Ops 6 at launch.

Black Ops 6's Zombies mode was also shown as part of the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, confirming several key features. Players will have access to two maps at launch: Liberty Falls and Terminus. The former is focused on a small rural town, while the latter was highlighted in the early footage of the mode and takes place on an island prison. Treyarch confirmed Black Ops 6 continues right where Black Ops: Cold War left off, with the prison map likely taking place in the area where Peck pointed in the Forsaken cutscene. In the snippet of gameplay, an Aether turret trap can be seen as well as a bloated Zombie that could potentially be a mini-boss.

For Microsoft's Game Pass setup, Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC subscribers will get full access to CoD 6's game while other tiers will only get access to the campaign.

The file size for this game is huge and that's not a good thing. Your storage space is going to take up their rent.
