Can't get Deoxys!

So, today, I tried to get the special event Deoxys. I did everything the official website told me to do, but when it was time for me to receive Deoxys, it said something like "there is no gift for you". Can someone please tell me if I missed something? Thank you

The event is for Pokemon Black and White 2 only. Make sure you chose to receive it through nintendo wifi connection and not through wireless.

i tried too and but it's only for the USA, though somehow i can't connect with Nintendo Wi-Fi but i can connect with my normal Wi-Fi which i dont get.

I live in Canada though and I was able to get it perfectly fine.

Weird, thought it was U.S. exclusive. What if you toy around with the regions maybe that could help don't know? Its not ending soon hopefully you can find a solution

The Deoxys isn't that good the the ony good moves are Psycho Shift and Dark Pulse.
