Citadel Season 1
Citadel is somehow one of the most expensive shows of all time. A fact that truly boggles my mind as honestly, I can't tell why.
It's not a bad show, but I certainly can't say that it looks pricey or has a large cast of famous celebrities. It looks fine enough but why the hell did this cost 200 million to make?
Outside of the absurd budget, Citadel is pretty fun. It's more or less just an enjoyable show with very standard writing and action. The plot isn't that unique but it's interesting enough, and I did enjoy these characters.
The final episode was pretty cool, I won't spoil it but it does make this show pretty interesting. They are already doing a Season 2 so I hope it continues to be this interesting.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It's nothing special outside of the finale but I'm interested in seeing more.
Patriot Season 1
I've been meaning to watch this show for a while, so I might as well get it done now.
Holy shit, this is genuinely a really good show. It's such an interesting and complex spy show that tells its story in a super unique way. It cuts back and forth from multiple perspectives in a non-linear way that I haven't seen before. It's very much something I haven't seen before. It's very easy to grasp as well which is equally impressive.
I have to say, this is a true enjoyment to watch. I fully recommend this.
Patriot Season 2
Season 2 is just as good as Season 1, and because of that I have very little to say. It's much more linear than Season 1 but it wasn't a problem so it's not really worth that much of a comment. Anyways, sad to see this show get canceled, but at least the ending was satisfying enough.
