Anybody likes coconut? Whether it’s coconut water/milk, shredded, etc. I tried the water but wasn’t impressed. People say it can help replenish electrolytes.
We’ve gotten the whole fruit & while it took time to cut open, it was nice having pure coconut chunks rather than the sugar laden ones.
What do you like coconut on or in?
I find some gluten free products use coconut as a base but problem with that is, the coconut flavor overpowers all others.
I can't remember the last time I had a Pina Colada non-alcoholic, but it was at a wedding, and never again. I miss that. Anyway, I have some chocolate coconut bars my parents bought because they are lower in sugar and healthier.
I don't mind coconut flavouring or when added to certain things but it is not something I can have all the time and is always a one-off thing I tend to have when I fancy it.
I do take it from time to time just because it's supposed to cool the body (_ _)/ and it would save you from getting a heat stroke.
However, I don't like the taste....
I love coconut! In fact, just tonight, I made some German Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies! They turned out pretty good too! I also enjoy cooking with Coconut Milk (lots of Thai and Indian dishes use it), as well as Cream of Coconut. And my blender gets plenty of action too, making exotically tropical beverages!
