The Coleco Chameleon is a “modern day take on the classic game console.” It will play new 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit games. It’ll even play some classics, though we don’t know which. All games will be released on cartridges.

We won’t have to wait long for the Coleco Chameleon. The console launches in early 2016.

This does look like a good consoles for playing classic games.

So what, they release a bunch of old games on one playable storage device?

I think this console will sell single games in cartridge form like in the old days. But, there is a chance that each cartridge has more than one game on it since 8bit, 16bit , 32bit games don't take up much space.

Hopefully, the cartridges will be affordable, and not cost $40 and more like in the past.

I assume this is just going to be like any ordinary cartridge console the only plus point to this would be that it can play new cartridge based games also With a new streamlined design outside.

it looks like there are 4 USB ports on the front, so it maybe possible to play games off of a USB drive unless the USB ports are just used for charging the controllers.
