lol It's because the Coronavirus is canceling gaming events.

You can also blame Nintendo here. They've been REALLY slow with announcements this year, with no general Nintendo Directs having been held since September 2019. That's unprecedented, and the lack of a new year Direct makes it seem really slow on the games front.

Not just Nintendo, all the game companies have been lacking in info. I blame the next gen consoles because no one can say much yet. Now we got this sickness canceling events.
