Complex or simple inputs?

Do you like complex or simple inputs for your fighting games?

I've always enjoyed simple hack and slash over the move complex combo-focused games. I suppose it has a lot to do with me mostly playing casual "fighting" games and never really getting into the more competitive side of things.

I rather have relaxed or simple controls, when things get to complex I can't do it and then just get mad.

Pokken level would be preferred.
