Do you feel that things which highly offend some, but don't really mean much, to others should be removed? Note, in the US, this has become a hot topic lately in regards to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Yeah this is a hot issue of late, though whatever they may be viewed as I do think confederate belongs in a museum.

I don't care one way or the other. In fact I saw something that said, "Nazism was a part of Germany's history and you don't see Hitler statues there," which I felt was a good point. Like DS said, that stuff is best suited for a museum.

Those rulings are ridiculous, especially the 50s one. The southern states were in open rebellion and lost. They shouldn't get to immortalize their racist idols with statues and flags. I haven't heard a single good argument for why these statues were made in the first place.
