Hello, I need help connecting both of these systems to my internet. I use Exede and Belkin. My PS3 and laptop and connect to it just fine. But I seem to have trouble with these two. I have tried everything. But it just doesn't work. I am pretty annoyed at the fact the the PS3 works and these two don't. Can anyone help that had experience in this area? Or who could link me somewhere useful?

Many thanks.

Did you go to System Settings to search for an access point? Save it as Connection 1 afterwards.

you will need to make it WEP "with a nice short password not multi " not WEP2 not anything but WEP for the 3ds on some routers. if you have the knowledge to set a second band then set that to WEP only. i am sorry i cant give you step by step but i hope this helps... some routers just need to be factory set. worst case find a usb wifi drive. idk how much they are but you just plug it in your PC and it gives you a wireless signal.

If you are having a connection issue such as your other devices are connecting to your wifi but your 3DS is not, I have heard that changing your DNS settings would help you out. You have to replace all of the zeros with 8.8.8.8 in the primary, and 8.8.4.4. in the secondary. I'm not exactly sure what it does but it helped me out when i was having difficulty connecting my 3DS to my wifi a few weeks ago.

That's what I use. Not very worse case. They are handy. They're called NET GEAR.

worst case is he actually has to BUY something, else not that the equipment is bad in anyway. :P

I had to go into my modem settings and set reset the modem to default, change the Ghz to 4.5, change the channel to one my area doesn't have a lot of people on, set WEP (64-bit) and make sure my modem name is my own and then carry the numbers and name to the 3DS / DS games.
