For about a week now my controller seems to have develloped a problem where the right stick, or the sensor that detects it's motion, has glitched and now acts like it is slowlly drifting upwards. This started happening a week back but then it was just happening once or twice a session and a quick twirl of the stick sorted it out, but now it's doing it constantly to the point where most games are unplayable. I did a little research and found quite a few people were experiencing this problem with no real fix other than buying a new controller.
I was wondering if any of you other Xbox One users had experienced this problem before and if you had managed to fix it somehow?
I haven't had this issue. A while back there was a software update for the Xbox One Controller did you update that? It sounds like it might be a manufacture defect.
Try contacting Microsoft if it is still under warranty. Otherwise, go to a local repair shop and see if they can have it fixed. I can't say I've encountered this problem myself.
I've never really liked the controllers for the X-Box to begin with. They've seemed "bulky" to me versus the controllers that Sony or Nintendo has made for their consoles.
The X-Box 360 that the hubby has, it hasn't developed any problems as of yet.
I think Microsoft started out with really bulky controllers, and I mean they still are but once they moved pasted the OG xbox they got them to a really nice sweet spot of both comfort and weight.
