CoroCoro magazine pictures have been leaked (much like before X and Y) and shows us a lot about the new games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Kyogre and Groudon do not have Mega Evolutions but instead are now "Primal Kyogre" and "Primal Groudon", much like "Primal Dialga" from Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, and Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Mega Sceptile and Mega Swampert make it so each of the Gen 3 starters have Mega Evolutions.

The characters are changed in design a little (now people can see that the male protagonist does not have white hair, but brown). Mega Rings are now Mega Bangle, and Team Aqua and Team Magma get a slight redesign as well. Diancie has a mega form now that will probably be shown in the movie next month, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.

Steven Stone makes a comeback and will probably give you a Mega stone of some sort, as he is obsessed with rocks. The Mach and Acro bikes are returning as well. To see more details, you can go to the link above or see the link right here:

Ha! I've been saying that Groudon & Kyogre's new form are not mega! :p I cannot believe it didn't cross my mind how similar Primal Dialga looked to these, since it was just Mystery Dungeon who would have thought? xP

But I have to disagree, about the hair. Brendan still has white hair (or could possibly be since this isn't final). May has had her hair a bit lighter than I remembered but Brendan's hair is way lighter than May (which is just light brown) in this screen shot. Also if you look at the screen shot where Brendan is with Steven note that Brendan does not have brown hair. Also this was a picture taken so the light could make his hair appear darker from shadows.

Diancie looks really gorgeous than it's previous state. And I can't help but wonder if they'll release Diancie with or without her mega stone and I am stating this now.

We will be receiving Diancie in North America on or before sometime in July. Due to some evidence unintentionally stated by the Pokémon Global Link. (Yes, pretty bold statement. *no pun intended* but I am very confident and 100% sure about this.)

At first I didn't like mega Swampert but to be honest it looks like a beast and with its new ability Swift Swim, it'll probably be bringing some rain teams back, I can already see, lol. Mega Sceptile is just cool, period.

And I am very, but very looking forward to the Arco bike! I just loved doing wheelies on it! I do hope they get rid of the skates . . . or at least give us an option to take them off and use the circle pad by itself without activating skates, or maybe even something better!

Everything that has been released by CoroCoro looks very nice, I can't wait to get my hands on this game regardless what has been mentioned or will about too in the upcoming future. I will be getting both! Better not make the same mistake I did with XY and just bought Y downloadable version.

Also dude, give in some life to your news, you're basically ripping off what they just said. :p Gives us more of your opinion!

Also, this is a bit late, but like you, I was right when saying there would be remakes of R/S and nobody believed me.

Go to 2:50 on the video and you can see on Brendan that he clearly has brown sideburns and brown hair in the background, for one.

And for more of my opinion, specifically, I'm excited about the redesign of Brendan and May, and the new mega evolutions of both Sceptile and Swampert look amazing. Still don't know what starter I'm going to choose, though. Love the return of Steven Stone and Team Magma and Aqua. I can't wait for the bike's return! Like you, I hope they have it so you can take off the skates if you'd like.

And, I state what they said in case people can't watch the video or don't want to, so they still get the info. But yes, I will continue putting more of my opinion.
 
Brendan doesn't have white hair, that's a hat. If you look at the picture close up on serebii, it's very clear by the sideburn you see.
 
Yeah I started believing a remake of R/S/E would have come especially how they hinted it in XY about Sapphire and Ruby so it seemed pretty obvious but I had an open mind so I actually though X2/Y2 or even Z would have come along.

Yeah, Brendan's hair is far too ambiguous to actually tell what it is. But after doing a little research I found out its brown, lol. I've been lied to this whole time! Just kidding, but in the anime and game it was hard to tell if that was a beanie or his actually hair (since he never took it off) but I saw on the manga that it was a beanie. I still want to believe it's white hair because it looks cool, lol.

But remember these are pictures, you can even see someone holding onto the magazine/book and especially the glare from the lights. But that's one huge side burn if you ask me. :p in the video you can't see clearly so I went to Serebii which you can see the actual pictures.

I'm undecided either. I've actually chosen all starters before (Ruby - Torchic, Sapphire - Treecko, Emerald - Mudkip) but since I'm getting both games i'll be most likely picking Torchic and Mudkip. The big decision for me is, who shall I choose as a girl and guy in which game x_x that's another mystery for me that I shall solve on launch date.

BTW, I'm a Jwitz fan xD love his videos and I'm glad I see this, he's very funny although I haven't seen his videos in a while unfortunately.

EDIT: Seems like Nin got a hold of some really bright pictures and I can now see the side burns. The ones on Serebii are too dark! x(

I got used to it after staring at it for a while. The art style has changed since Gen 3, and there's more racial variety. See the entire Team Aqua for example.

Oh, by the way. Did you notice that in the screenshot with Steven, the chat interface is modeled after the one in the original games, complete with the red arrow for "next page?" The battle interface is black, it seems.

Mega Swampert is my favourite, he looks more like a tank now like hulk or something


I can hear the 'do u even lift bro' meme mixing with the 'i heard u leik mudkipz' meme.
