Throughout the Mario Universe there have been many creatures, locations or other miscellaneous stuff. Some awesome, some lame, some creepy.

So my question to you is, what is the creepiest/weirdest thing in the Mario Universe?

Luigi's face on the saving screen in Luigi's Mansion.

But forget that for a minute. How about the Mad Piano from Super Mario 64? The dark figures looking down at you in Super Mario Galaxy 2's Shiverburn Galaxy?
 
*Makes odd noises.* What? I've never seen those. Ok you win that face is the creepiest ever.

Also the piano was scary once. When I was 5. "Oh hey look a piano." *Goes up.* *Piano moves.* *Screams like a little girl.*

It never got me sense.

Also I've never played Galaxy 2, but that sound odd.
 
The Luigi's Mansion beta images Nin posted are creepy, and so are the mysterious figures in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Here's another thing that could be considered creepy (it's a glitch or whatever, but still creepy considering what it looks like):

Well if you look at Luigi's shadow, it doesn't meet with his feet, so a few people have suggested it's a shadow of Luigi being hung from the ceiling fan in that room. That room is currently supposed to be dark, but the shadow is cast when lightning illuminates the room, heh.

Bogmire from Luigi's mansion gave me nightmares when I first played it (I was 6 or 7). However, for something I still find creepy...It'd have to be the power going out (and the quest to return it) in Luigi's Mansion. I absolutely HATE it, even though there's no reason for it...freaks me out every time. Ironically the only part that DOESN'T creep me out in that section is the portrait ghost...I think the name is Uncle Grimsley...he's kind of pathetic.
 
Cackletta from mario and luigi superstar saga and that red boss you face in chuckcola forest (I didn't play it in years in case I spelt it wrong) and the second princess shroob after it transforms in partners in time
