Just read, an F-35C crashed during carrier landing on USS Carl Vinson. Dang this is the 5th time the F-35 fighter has crashed. Fighter needs to be fixed.

Is it true that they haven't recovered it as yet? I heard that the Chinese military might be trying to recover it too so that they can check out the tech in the jet.

Well it takes quite some time to locate and recover all the parts, Chinese military will definitely hang around as close as possible but I doubt they would actually try to recover it. It would make tension there worse.

The stupid part was The Fighter Crashed not because of Combat at all, just because off a failed Landing and it happened before. That's not acceptable. They should have fixed the issue with the fighter before getting deployed there.
