New DCS F/A - 18c Hornet Story Campaign, The Rampagers.
Niiice!

Follow the F/A-18C squadron - VFA-83 The Rampagers - aboard the USS Harry S Truman as their tour is extended by a month to reinforce Operation Inherent Resolve in Syria from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Throughout the 17 missions of the campaign, Player and his squadron mates will get front row seats to the events of June 2016 in the air war against Iraq and the Levant. The missions and storyline are inspired by true events that included the ramping up of offensive operations to liberate key territory in the northern Aleppo province of Syria, deep strikes against oil, cash deposits and smuggling activities, and not least increasing tension and brinkmanship with Russian forces determined to reinstate the balance of power in the region.

This campaign is a docusim that features realistic departure and recovery procedures, airspace controls and target engagements, however in an accessible format that is supported by briefings, kneeboards and hints. Through briefings and dialogue, the player will as the story progresses become familiar with the operational complexities and key events in air war against ISIS of mid-2016.
