This has been going on for a long time, actually. It all depends if the artist is a greedy bastard (like Square Enix and Yoko Shimomura) or a person who doesn't care that his/her music gets exploited. (Rare and Grant Kirkhope).

Actually, Yoko is being retarded. She should, in fact, let the people expose her music so they could, gee, idunknow, SHE CAN BECOME MORE FAMOUS??
