Dark Souls 2 Anyone?

I was a huge fan of the original Dark Souls and haven't really looked into the sequel as of now. Has anyone played the new Dark Souls yet? Is it still mind killing/mega frustratingly hard? I'm looking for some opinions before I decide to go and pick it up.

I've played Dark Souls II, It's pretty good game. I played it like some days ago on my laptop. Its not as hard as you've thought it to be. I'd say go for it. The game is gives you the value for your money. Personal opinion though.
You could also browse some YouTube videos about the gameplay if you still find it hard to decide.

I'm currently playing Dark Souls 2 and yes, it's still as hard and frustrating as the first one. Sometimes it feels easier but I think that's because I got used to the style of the gameplay that rewards caution and pattern learning. The optimization and options are way better this time and Dark Souls 2 looks and plays like a true PC game.

So, I highly recommend playing it!
I'm almost at the end, playing as a warrior type char and plan on starting again, once I finish, with a mage type character.

I've played all of the Demon Souls games and I think the order of difficulty is as follows, with the hardest being first in the list.

• Demon Souls
• Dark Souls
• Dark Souls 2

That being said, all three games are equally just as good gameplay wise.  You'll have a lot of fun no matter which one you play, so if you haven't played all of them, I'd suggest you'd best get to work!
