Did Final Fantasy IV 'copy' A Link to the Past music wise?

o.O you posted the LttP prologue, we are comparing the ending here.

Actually the ending theme of FF IV is the main theme of the FF series since FF I. Maybe Kondo did get inspired by the song but it's not similar in anyways if not just the tempo. Also the ending theme of LttP is one of my all time favs.

Typo in your title. He says that LttP copied FFIV, as it came out a few months prior.

That song from FFIV has really stuck with me through the years, so I think I never noticed the similarity before, but I can definitely hear it. I feel like most Final Fantasy endings sound like that though (tone and tempo-wise at least). The two songs were very similar, so it might have just been like the video author said and they happened to be in the same mindset.

Final Fantasy IV was released on July 19, 1991 in Japan, and November 23, 1991 (as "Final Fantasy II") in the US.
A Link to the Past was released on November 21, 1991 in Japan, and April 23, 1992 in the US

Get your facts straight, Nin3DS.

But it's not as annoying as people saying something like "OMG Sonic 3D Blast's Green Grove Zone Act 1 is just copied from Sonic Adventure's "The Air... for Windy Valley""
