Did Skyward Sword possibly need more dungeons/areas?

Because as much as people don't like admitting it, it had the least different areas in the series (three main surface areas and Skyloft/the sky), and also seemingly quite few dungeons as well (seven dungeons, while Ocarina of Time had about ten, Link to the Past about fifteen and Twilight Princess nine), so did it need more?

Would it have been an even better game if they'd made Hyrule quite a bit bigger and added some more dungeons to explore?

I just wish it had karkoriko

i have only done four dungeons but ive spent hours on the game with still alot to do, i think skyward sword has more sidequests than most zelda games focusing on all npcs and having no random ones that are there for show.

Nah. I think it was fine in the way of doungeons. In areas, it could have had a lot more work done. I know it takes place in the begining of all Zelda time, but some times while flying, I get bored because of lack of anything to see.

I think there were enough areas in-between the dungeons to make the game plenty long enough. Although, the fact that you basically go back to some of the same dungeons twice is a little strange.

I think it was a little dissopointing when it comes down to the world size. Eventualy it got to were I avoided the sky because of the lack of things to do. Sure you could go to the many islands but there really isn't much to do on them. I liked the world of Hyrule on Twilight Princess because of it's massive size, the caves to explore, and the golden bugs to find, and that's about half of the world.

I think the number and length of the dungeons was fine. Each one brought something new to the table, and were very well designed. In fact, I found the dungeon design in SS pretty incredible compared to some other LoZ dungeons that have caused nothing more than misery and turmoil (Water Temple, anyone? Both in OoT and MM

However, I do believe that the amount of content outside of the dungeons was definitely lacking. The whole 3-area nonsense just flat-out bothered me. Sure, certain parts couldn't be explored until later items were obtained, etc., but it just wasn't enough. The sky was undeniably bland (in my opinion, more so than the sea.) Nothing HAPPENED out there, whereas on the Great Sea, you had giant Octorok battles and pirate ships bombarding you. In the sky you simply flew from one beacon to the other...

The Hyrule I know and love involves a wider variety of both core destinations, and land in between. I understand that this was the first in the 'timeline,' so having Link just run around an unexplored Hyrule and land down-under-the-clouds could be a little strange for story purposes in Miyamoto's eyes. For me, however, there just wasn't enough. The game worked well for what it presented, but another couple of areas would've been nice (an icy region, perhaps? Or maybe a tropical island for something different....)

I think it needed more dungeons and bosses
Sky Keep really should have had a boss. The reason it is my worst dungeon is because it didn't

The dungeons were fine, but the over world was too much like a giant obstacle course which wasn't a change that i was fond of. However, I think all games need to be the same length as twilight princess or longer.
