I didn't yet. Money's tight, and with server related stuff and capture cards and games and things to buy, it's kind of hard to justify a Wii U and some Wii U games about now.
I didn't buy it because it's on the Wii U, but it looks very interesting. I am however, waiting for the Nintendo 3DS version that I heard by a Game Stop employee, not sure if anyone else heard this but he told me a Nintendo rep had come by and showed him Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and he played it on the Wii U on a week before the launch of Bravely Default in the U.S. and told me they are working on the 3DS version that I believe will come out this year (If I remember correctly), so I think I'll wait for that to come out.
Well I'm on the edge. On the one hand, I need to save money for my vacation, on the other hand, it's only $50 and I could just use my spending money on it. I think I might go pick it up later this week, and I believe I have a Best Buy gift card sitting around that I can use on it!
i have it, but for me it's a difficult game lol, this is my first Donkey Kong Country game ever, so i need to get used to all controls, im only at world 2 because i havent played too much, but i fail at finding secrets or puzzle pieces lol
I may get it at some point, but as of right now I don't feel the need to. With money being the way it is and the fact that I didn't really enjoy the first DKCR, I don't know what I'll do.
Not yet. I really want it, but Hubby's worried it's not gonna be worth it since I despised the last Wii version of DKC:R. But this one allows the use of a NICE Wii U pro controllers, and not just the lousy wiimote We have plenty of money for it in Nintendo Point thingies on the eshop. I'm gonna download the demo tonight (At least I hope there's a demo!) and give a try and decide then.
I have no interest in DKC in general, but I played a bit of DK64 last night. So if they ever remake DK64 or a 3D DK game like DK64 I would so buy that.

Dude I'd be in line with you. That was the only DK I actually enjoyed other than DKC:TF (with a friend)
P.S. I'd also like to say that DKC:TF is actually a really good game for couples imo.
