Just out of curiosity, did you? Or are you the type of person who only buys either home consoles or handheld consoles?

Maybe instead you're a recent Nintendo 'convert' and previously either didn't play many games or played games on other systems exclusively.

Me personally, I try to buy every Nintendo console released, but I'll wait a bit to see how well they do first.

I only buy a console when I am certain it will have enough games to keep me interested. Also, if there are competitive consoles, then I will only pick the one that holds the most interest for me. As such, I have skipped the GameCube and a few other Nintendo handhelds (especially when they did not make a generation leap forward in what they played).

But in general, I own most Nintendo consoles and can currently play anything I want through backwards compatibility and whatnot.

The only Nintendo console/ handheld I don't own is the Virtual Boy.
Does that even count? And, I skipped the Gamecube. I'll be late on the Wii U, but when I get the money I'll get it.

The only systems I don't have are the SNES and the Virtual Boy. The Wii U is a given though, but I shall get that soon.
