Well, did you? I did personally, but I don't really see university as all that important in the long run. Seems a bit outdated.
 
I did, though I didn't go into my field. My husband did as well, and while we're still paying off his debts (There were issues that made them far more then necessary) he did get a much better paying job because of it. It really just depends on how much you spend, verses the outlook and payrate of your chosen career. For some it'll be worth it, for others not so much.
 
I'm just about done with college, though I want to get at least a masters down the road. I've found it valuable, but I'll agree with both of you and add I think a large part of that has to do with my chosen field (Computer Science). Depending on what you want to do I can see it being less necessary.
 
I started college to major in web design. I failed a lot of my classes because it was a lot harder than I thought. I mean we had to do it from scratch and I was used to using a program I learned in high school. :/ I ended up quitting after two semesters. I don't even think college is all that important for me anyway.
