Since PS1 and N64 both came out around the same time and both were popular consoles, did you ever get a PS1 or did you stick with the N64 and went to a PS2 when that came out?

Yeah same here PS1 was my first, my parents had the sega gen. when it came out, then i got PS2 when that came out since i was such a fan of the first.

My second.. third console. First the Gameboy Advanced, then the N64, then the PS1. I haven't sold it yet.

They got beat by better systems made by their dad.

I have the orignal PsX and the slim PsOne , and N64.
The first time i read screen shots about resident evil, and how it was going to be a horror based video game, i bought a PS1, withpout any games, and waited for RE to come out.
I didn't like CD based systems, cause loading time is the worst thing ever in a game, and PS1's was pretty horrible. But, thanx to RE, i did get a PS1, and played alot of great games on it.

FF7's loading time was pretty good. that's the only disc game that I never had problems with loading.
