As most of you would know, Super Paper Mario bent the rules with the series and practically scrapped all turn-based combat, replacing it for real-time action/adventure business. Now, I've just replayed the entire game from the start and I've also played a bit of Paper Mario for N64.
I bought Super Paper Mario with little research, and kind of assumed it would be an RPG, but I assumed wrong and ended up a bit disappointed at first. I kept on playing however, and kind of grew attached to the style.
Now, what about you? Did you despise the change of genre? Did it make the game less enjoyable? Glad that Paper Mario 3DS returns to what it used to be? Vote in poll, discuss here! Heck, tell us why you think Nintendo did this odd change.
