Well, not just Star Wars. They bought Lucasfilm including all movie properties and their games. They also announced a new Star Wars film is in production:

Yes, they plan to make episodes VII onwards! Including another trilogy in a few years, and movies every three or so years after that.
And considering they also own the Indiana Jones series, that could be getting a few more movies and things as well...
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I mean, I don't want to see two beloved movie series getting milked too much, but Disney has to do a better job than Lucas, right? Because Disney has made some pretty good movies lately, with fairly high review scores and decent audience receptions, in contrast to the recent efforts of Lucas which were terribly received. So hey, their new Star Wars film could be pretty good.
