Disney has announced Maleficent 2 is happening, with Angelina Jolie returning in the titular role along with the following:
- Cruella: Starring Emma Stone and written by Saving Mr. Banks scribe Kelly Marcel
- A Wrinkle in Time: Selma director Ava DuVernay is attached to direct, with Frozen screenwriter Jennifer Lee overseeing the script
- Jungle Cruise: Starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
- Dumbo: Alice in Wonderland and Edward Scissorhands filmmaker Tim Burton will direct, with Transformers: Age of Extinction writer Ehren Kruger penning the screenplay
- A Marry Poppins sequel: Rob Marshall will direct Emily Blunt and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda
- The Nutcracker and the Four Realms: Safe Haven's Lasse Hallstrom will direct, with Ashleigh Powell scripting
- The Jungle Book 2: Director Jon Favreau and screenwriter Justin Marks are coming back for the sequel
- A Tinker Bell Project: Reese Witherspoon is set to star, with Finding Dory writer Victoria Strouse working on the film
