Do we rush into Christmas too soon?

I saw Christmas decorations up and for sale before November started.

To me, that's way too soon.

I like Christmas but why can't the first of December be when we start getting ready for it?

What do you all think?

My local staples had end cap stuff in at the end of August. It's crazy.

Stores just got to start making that money as soon as they can.

Maybe they're worried online sales are going to start popping up so they can get sales early. That would make sense,

We just used last year's decorations, LOL.

Stores want to make a profit, which is why they jump towards Christmas as soon as possible. I used to ask "Why do they skip over Thanksgiving every year?" when I was a kid, but I get it now as an adult lol.

Well to be fair, thanksgiving is in the food, not decoration.

I think some stores may want to sell more Christmas items and gifts because some people may prefer to buy their Christmass stuff early. Putting up Christmas directions could help attract more visitors to their stores.
