Have you ever tried using AliExpress for that stuff as well? The prices on that site are just amazing but I guess you do have to be careful because some sellers don't sell legitimate stuff

I like eBay because I feel it is a more fun shopping website for buying from regular people and small companies which sell on eBay. I can also ask the seller questions about the item, and cost of shipping and handling the item.
The product photos and descriptions, and titles are sometimes written better than other websites.
eBay feels like a forum/community which you can buy and bid on products you like.

Now they wouldn't sell anything to Indians and I suppose that's to be expected

I think buyers can contact eBay if they got fake items, and eBay will refund the buyer their money, and the seller will get banned.
I agree there is always a risk of getting fake items when buying things on eBay and other sites. But, eBay maybe the only or one of the few websites which still sells older video games and software which are no longer being sold at most retail stores.

I think a lot of people may still use eBay because they really want the item which they can't find on other popular shopping websites and local stores.
There are seller reviews which can help users find sellers who are less likely to sell fake items.

New honest sellers might have a tough time on eBay.
I received couple of items recently and I love them. It's just that...eBay can be a bit expensive

My hubby does make use of ebay. He pretty much does all his shopping online and ebay is big with him. I don't act surprised anymore when something shows up either in the mailbox or on the front door step.

I know my uncle is a crazy person at ebay shipping.
My husband has been using Ebay for a long time. He used to sell stuff on there but since they upped the fees, it’s not worth it any longer. We do still buy items however.

I did notice a large hit last time I used them, but I still go with Ebay as I have nothing else.

I've used eBay at least once for a used retro game before Covid. After that, I haven't used it but I am considering selling stuff on there in the future.
