Do you remember Pop Rocks?

Did you like them? They were a popping candy when I was a kid. Was unlike other hard candy in that it used pressurized carbon dioxide gas bubbles that were inside. When they dissolved, it released those air pockets. Being kids, we didn’t know how it worked, just that it was an odd sensation lol

Since we don’t have kids nor eat candy hardly, I don’t know if they are still being made. Anybody know?

Yeah, those are fun! They're still made to this day!

I tried pop rocks many years ago. They were pretty tasty, and fun to eat. I used to put pop rocks in Soda for fun.

Yes they still sell these! I love watching my daughter’s reaction whenever we eat these. We don’t eat candy very often but I do enjoy pop rocks from time to time.

I remember going to Trader Joe’s one time and I purchased a chocolate bar called Fireworks I believe and it features the popping sensation just like pop rocks. It was sooooo good!

Yes I remember them well. We used to fill our mouth with them and then drink some pop, something I wouldn’t try now.

Oreo cookie has a new flavor with pop rocks now.
