Do you sometimes prefer playing PC and Mobile Games at lower video quality settings?

I sometimes feel the special effects and reflections on PC and mobile video games are somewhat distracting when playing a game, so I turn the video quality to a lower setting.

Plus, games run at a faster video framerate and use less battery power/electricity when I set the video quality to low, so I play games for more time before I need to charge my device with my charger. I also save a little extra money on electricity, and my gaming device wont overheat as much as setting the video quality setting to high.

I would run them at a rate that always kept perfect frame rates.
